Our mine, situated in the Limpopo Province about 60 kilometers from Lydenburg and 40 kilometers from Burgersfort, and is a world-class producer of Chrome Ore.
The successful applicant will report to the Contracts Specialist or nominee.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12/Standard 10 Certificate.
- Higher Certificate: Commercial / Finance related studies or equivalent.
- Code 08 (B) Driver’s Licence.
- Advantageous: National Diploma: Supply Chain/Logistics or equivalent.
- Advantageous: Bachelor of Commerce: Supply chain/logistics or Equivalent.
- Advantageous: CIPS Certificate Level 6
- Advantageous: Certificate: Contract Management / Commercial Law / Contract Law / LLB or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to):
- 3 years practical experience to Supply Chain Environment.
- 3 years practical experience in a Contracts Environment.
- Advantageous: 1- year practical Tender Administration experience.
DUTIES (including but not limited to):
- Administer all contracts as per set standards, policies, and legal requirements. Continuous update of the contract register on JDE and weekly progress report to the supervisor.
- Draft contracts and amendments. Administer, control and update all contracts held with external providers and contractors as and when required. Market research on prices to avoid being overcharged. Price negotiations. Contract approvals. Contract filing and safeguarding. Attention to detail.
- Liaise with all relevant internal and external stakeholders regarding contracts. Assist end users by guiding through the administration of contracts. Follow up with end users and act on expiring contracts.
- Align Contract standards and policies with the Group to ensure legal compliance.
